A Nil Ojeda × IKEA collab in the shape of two independent drops. Each one with its own retail channel, its own limited edition and its own rules to get one.

Hardware Kit
Around both drops, art direction takes over: an assembly manual with its own mascot (Milky) and an outer packaging system with custom asterisk-die-cut tape. Not on sale — the layer that amplifies the two pieces that are.
MALM chromatic red.
Same structure as the original MALM. Different liturgy: IKEA red lacquer, exposed asterisk-shaped hardware (the censored-logo motif), candy-cane handles in food-grade silicone.

The Swedish flag,
interrupted.
Open the drawer and a pattern of lacquered slats appears: Pantone 286 blue + Pantone 116 yellow. Only visible to whoever owns the unit.
Why the sticks.
The interior slats have triangular cross-section and assemble like a mosaic. The shape references ice-pop sticks — a wink to the «milkshake» — but the colour pairing comes straight from the Swedish flag, the country IKEA was born in.
The pattern is only visible when you slide the drawer open. Whoever displays the closed unit misses the gag. Whoever opens it, gets it.

5,000 only.
The drop is distributed exclusively in IKEA's bedroom department. One unit per cart, named ticket, yellow conveyor exit. Once it sells out, it sells out.
The asterisk
as a typeface.
The box keeps the purity of IKEA's white cardboard. The censored M***SHAKES logo — three asterisks — becomes a continuous packing-tape pattern. Small joke: the asterisks are here because we can't legally print the rest.
White board · red tape.
Custom die-cut tape with a repeating asterisk/snowflake motif. Lateral label as a warehouse waybill: dimensions, weight, product code, numbered edition, and «MALM × M***SHAKES» as the only visible mark.
No product photography on the box. The unboxing is almost clinical — chromatic red only appears once you tear the tape.
The second drop.
The folding metal box with the 6-tool set ships inside the IKEA package when you buy the bedside. But it's also a standalone drop: sold separately at milfshakes.com, with its own limited edition.

Vintage American-style folding metal toolbox. Baked-enamel finish, red + white, white asterisk die-cut on the side as ventilation / branding. Reinforced handles, carry-on dimensions.

Each tool is an individual character with little hands, gestures and posture. Rubber + matte plastic, IKEA blue/yellow palette. The full set always ships together inside the toolbox — no singles, no mystery boxes.

The manual
has a protagonist.
The booklet reproduces the IKEA language down to the millimeter: line drawings only, black and white, prohibition symbols, numbered hardware inventory. The twist: the neutral humanoid is replaced by Milky.
Mascot: Milky.
A milkshake cup with a candy-cane beanie and a tool belt. Keeps the IKEA grid, panels and pictograms — but gives the whole system a recognisable face.
The booklet is A5, center-stitched, 32 pages. The cover is the most reposted page on social — and that was the plan.
